Susan Rea, PhD, is the Director of Research at the Nimbus Centre at Munster Technological University (MTU) where her current research interests focus on IoT & CPS, specifically trusted and distributed infrastructure management, digital transformation, and design led technology development. She is a Principal Investigator in the SFI CONNECT Centre for Future Networks, member of the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) Academic Advisory Body and a member of the Blockchain Ireland Skills, Education and Innovation Working Group as well as being a member (and former Vice Chair) of the IEEE UK and Ireland Blockchain Group.
